Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS WOOD THERAPY?

The technique employs a series of repetitive movements using more than a dozen different wooden implements. These non-invasive techniques manipulate stubborn areas of muscle, fat, and cellulite, stimulating the lymphatic drainage system to rid the body of store toxins. This release of toxins jump starts the metabolism to naturally burn fat. The manipulation also serves to break down stubborn pockets of cellulite, thereby shrinking disproportionate bulges and visibly smoothing orange-peel dimples.

WHAT IS ULTRASOUND CAVITATION?

Ultrasound Cavitation or ultrasonic cavitation is an effective non-invasive method to breakdown fat deposits and reduce cellulite.

It is a new technology that is using narrow ultrasonic frequency waves to breakdown unwanted fat cells. Fat cells get dissolved and absorbed to the blood stream and then excreted in your urine. Treatment starts with selected body area and is conducted in circular movement of applicator in the selected body area. Treatment duration for each target area can be anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes depending on size and thickness of the fat layer.

WHAT IS RF SKIN TIGHTENING?

Radio-frequency (RF) energy treatment is a new and promising technology for non-surgical body contouring, fat and cellulite reduction. Pure RF energy alone or RF in combination with other modalities, can be used in treatments to effectively contour the body and reduce the appearance of cellulite and fat. With deep, controlled heating of the fatty layers under the skin, the effects of tissue tightening and increased blood circulation mean that fatty deposits are drained through the lymphatic system, reducing the appearance of cellulite.

How many sessions will I need to see results?

Results are usually almost immediate with an average of 2-10 cm lost from the area after the first session. It is recommended to have 3 to 12 sessions for best results. Remember not all experience the same results. Since we are all different results may vary.

Where does the fat go?

Laser treatments act to liquefy fats, which are drained through the lymphatic system. The effectiveness of fat drainage during and after treatment is dependent on proper functioning of the lymphatic system, which is responsible for removing wastes from the body.

Can it replace a diet?

Never!!! A sensible diet can help you maintain a healthy weight. Infrared acts effectively on targeting those stubborn areas that diet and exercise just don't seem to be able to reach.

Is it painful? Does it hurt?

There is no pain or discomfort during or after the Laser treatment.

Are the results permanent?

Like any other cosmetic treatment, results are not permanent. We recommend exercising for a longer lasting result. Our procedure has no downtime, is a fraction of the cost of a surgical procedure and is proven to be safe and effective.
